The Reginelli Stars - Soccer 2007

The Younger half of the team (4 and 5 yr olds) are above. There's Austin front row hammin it up next to his friends Sarah and Dickson(behind everyone) They were both on his baseball team this summer so he was excited to be with them again. Also on the right are the older kids on the team the 6 yr olds. They are a fun group of kids and we had a great time this past Saturday!

Austin also had a great time doing warm ups with his buddies, and we can't wait until next Saturday!

Coach Jim, giving his pre game prep talk

At the end of the day we will never really know who won the game but we all had a lot of fun and ......... yes we will be investing in "icy hot stock" for those after game minor aches and pains...

Bike Ride in City Park

September 3, 2007

We decided to take Austin to the park today so he could ride his bike and we could walk and get some exercise. It was extremely hot but the oak trees helped to shield us somewhat. Austin was so excited to ride his bike and he had a great time trying to race us as we walked.

Air?? After trying to ride for a couple
of minutes we realized that he was having a really rough time pedaling... and then we reaized there was little to no air in the tires ....
After the air/tire episode, things were much smoother for all concerned and Austin took off!

On the Race Track
Our day ended with two laps around the track which pretty much wore out both the boys...

Happy Birthday Bradley!!!!

Sunday September 26, 2007 2pm
Today we celebrated Bradley's 21st birthday at Judge and ReRe's house. It was a fun day with a house full of McKay's!! It was really great to see all of the kids running around together, and Aunt Pam cooked an incredible lunch!

I think the real hit today was the White Chocolate Bread Pudding which was served in place of regular birthday cake. WOW Aunt Pam made a delicious bread pudding, I don't know who like it better the kids of the adults!! Aunt Pam couldn't serve it fast enough!!!!! It was a wonderful day!

August 22, 2007 St. Dominic First Day of School

Austin was so excited to start his "Big Boy" school that he wore a permanent smile all morning long. When we arrived at St. Dominic, we were directed to the cafeteria to wait until the teachers were ready for their new students' first day!! His teacher Ms. Palermo greeted her new students and we unpacked all of Austin's school suppies in a fun scavenger hunt type of way!! Then the parents left and the students were able to sit and hear the story of Franklin the turtle and his first day starting a new school. When we picked Austin up at 11 am he was still smiling and Mrs. Palermo said that the smile never left his face the whole morning!
Conspiring Already??

He got up this morning and was ready to go. He got his backpack and his uniform on and was waiting by the door! He loves his spiderman backpack and made sure that as we walked in the cafeteria, he pointed out that he had the Special Spiderman backpack.

We were not in the cafeteria area more than five minutes when he asked me to help him get his backpack off and

"Could he go play with those boys?"

Here he is ready to go, and already making friends!!

This weekend was the last of July and it was so hot! At one point the heat index said 106, but the boys found a way to cool off and entertain mom!

BASEBALL!!! ( Carrolton Boosters)

Austin has been playing baseball all summer and he has really enjoyed himself! He plays for Carrolton Boosters on the 4-5 yr.old team. It is so funny to see all these cute little kids diving for the ball and sliding in to home plate. He loves to throw and pitch, but says that he really isn't too crazy about catching. Here he is in the dugout before the game with his friend Dixon.

SUMMER TIME!!! 2007

Austin has been having a wonderful summer! Today it was so hot that the only way to beat the heat was to have fun in the slip-n-slide!!

JAZZ FEST 2007

Every year we take the whole family to Jazz fest and even though I was pregnant this year we still made our annual pilgrimage!! Austin loves all the different music. This is in front of the Cajun stage, he REALLY liked this part!

We had a great day!
